WALKING IN THE BLESSINGS OF OBIDIENCE

WHAT IS OBIDIENCE?
Obedience can be defined as Compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another’s authority, or the act of obeying dutifully or having a submissive behavior with respect to an authority
WHAT IS BLESSING?
In a biblical context it is defined as God’s favor and protection, or an empowerment to succeed(Exodus 23:25)
Walking in the blessings of obedience should be a part of a disciplined Christians life at all times obeying the word and orders of God in other to rip the blessings that is our inheritance

CHARACTERS IN THE BIBLE THAT WERE LED IN OBEDIENCE
1. ABRAHAM: Abram who later became Abraham after the call from God Genesis 12:1-3 Abraham is called by God (Yahweh) to leave his own country and people and journey to an undesignated land, where he will become the founder of a new nation, for his obedience he was blessed with a son at the ripe age of 100 but to test his obedience in Genesis 22:1-16 God ordered Abraham to offer his son as a sacrifice and he did as he was told and as soon as Abraham was to strike Isaac God told him to halt to test his Obedience+ and as such Isaac also followed in the footsteps of his father in Genesis 26:1,

CONSEQUENCES OF DISOBEDIENCE
1. DEVOURED BY THE SWORD-ISIAH 1:19-20
2. DIVINE PUNISHMENT-LEVITICUS 26:13-20
3. DESTRUCTION-PROVERBS:13-13,ECCLESTIASES 12-13
In conclusion Obedience is better than sacrifice in cases it be better to do good than not to in order not to suffer the consequences and repercussion
