*GOD IS A WARRIOR*
*2 Samuel 22:32-35 – “For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.”*

*MESSAGE:*
The Lord is not only our refuge and strength but also our defender in times of battle. David recognized God as a warrior who equipped him for victory, teaching him the skills of warfare and granting him strength beyond human capacity. Time and again, God fought for His people, ensuring they triumphed over their enemies.

When David faced Goliath, he boldly declared in *1 Samuel 17:47, “The battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”* Indeed, God enabled David to defeat the giant with a single stone, showing that victory comes not by might but by His power. Another example is in 2 Samuel 5:24 when God instructed David to wait for the sound of marching in the tops of the trees before attacking the Philistines. This signified God’s heavenly army leading the charge, ensuring victory for Israel.

Similarly, in 2 Chronicles 20, when King Jehoshaphat and Judah faced a vast enemy army, they sought God. He assured them, “ *Do not be afraid or discouraged… For the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15).* True to His word, God set ambushes against their enemies, and Judah didn’t have to fight—they only sang praises!

My beloved readers, God is still in the business of fighting for His people. Trust Him with your battles and lean on His strength. Just as He delivered David, Jehoshaphat, and the Israelites, He will defend, equip, and bring you to victory. Stand firm in faith, for the Lord is your warrior, and with Him, triumph is assured!
It is good to also note that God will only fight for His children, the question today is, Are you a child of God? If not, please do by accepting Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and Savior.
May the Lord bless and also give you the understanding of His word today in Jesus Name.
