*GOD IS A JUST GOD*
*2 Samuel 23:1, 3 – “Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said, The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.”*

Message:
God’s justice is impartial and fair. He does not favor the rich over the poor or the strong over the weak. In James 2:1-9, we are warned against showing favoritism. The passage describes a scenario where special attention is given to a rich man in fine clothes while a poor man is treated unfairly. James reminds us that this behavior is sinful and does not reflect the character of God, who shows no partiality (Romans 2:11).

David’s words in today’s scripture emphasize that those who rule or lead must be just, mirroring God’s impartial nature. Whether in leadership or everyday life, we are called to treat everyone fairly, regardless of their status, wealth, or appearance.

Beloved, God’s justice is perfect, and He expects us to follow His example. Avoid favoritism and ensure fairness in your dealings with others. Remember that God’s blessings and rewards are not based on outward appearances but on the purity of the heart and obedience to His word. Let justice, fairness, and love guide your actions, knowing that our just God is watching and will reward your faithfulness.
May the Lord bless and also give us the understanding of His word today in Jesus Name.
