*ADMIT YOUR FAULTS*
*2 Samuel 24:9-10 – “Joab gave the list of the people to the king. There were 800,000 men in Israel who could use the sword. And there were 500,000 men in Judah. David felt ashamed after he had counted the people and said to the Lord, ‘I have sinned greatly in what I did! Lord, I beg you, forgive me for my sin. I have been very foolish.’”*

*MESSAGE*
David realized that his decision to count the people was wrong, and he didn’t hesitate to admit his mistake before God. He acknowledged his sin and sought forgiveness, showing humility and a repentant heart. This teaches us the importance of admitting our faults when we go astray.
God values sincerity and repentance. An example of God’s forgiveness is the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-24. The son wasted his inheritance on reckless living, but when he realized his mistake, he returned to his father, confessing his wrongs. Instead of condemnation, the father welcomed him back with open arms, a symbol of God’s boundless mercy toward those who turn to Him in repentance.

Many times, pride can make us reluctant to admit our mistakes. We might shift blame or try to justify our actions, but *Proverbs 28:13 reminds us: “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”* God knows we are all humans and we sometimes make mistakes and fall into errors.

Beloved, whenever you make a mistake, be honest with yourself and with God. Admit your faults, seek forgiveness, and ask for His grace to do better. Remember, God is always ready to forgive a humble and contrite heart. Remain blessed and stay safe.
