*GOD IS MY DELIVERER*
*_2 Samuel 22:17-19 – “He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support.”_*

*MESSAGE*
In today’s scripture, David reflected on how God delivered him from overwhelming challenges and enemies that were stronger than him. He described God’s intervention as being lifted out of deep waters, symbolizing situations where he felt helpless and trapped. This reminds us that no matter how dire or impossible a situation seems, God is mighty to save.

Just as He rescued David from enemies too strong for him, He also delivered Daniel from the lions’ den. In Daniel 6, when Daniel was thrown into the den for praying to God, the Lord shut the mouths of the lions, keeping him unharmed. Similarly, God delivered the children of Israel from bondage in Egypt. Despite Pharaoh’s stubbornness and the Red Sea standing in their way, God miraculously parted the sea, leading His people to safety (Exodus 14).

These stories remind us that no situation is too difficult for God. He can deliver us from danger, bondage, or any overwhelming circumstance. *Hebrews 13:6 says, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”* There are times in life when we face battles that are too much for us. It could be struggles, opposition, or challenges that feel overwhelming. But like David, we can rest assured that God is our support, and He will deliver us. When it seemed like there was no way out, God became David’s support and saved him from danger.*Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”*

Beloved, when you feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges, call upon God. Trust in His power to deliver and sustain you. No situation is too great for Him to handle. Let Him be your support and refuge in the day of trouble.
