*WHEN GOD IS ANGRY*
*_2 Samuel 22:8-9 – “Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, because He was angry. Smoke went up from His nostrils, and devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it.”_*

*MESSAGE* :
This passage reminds us that God, though loving and merciful, is also just and righteous. His anger is not like human anger, which is often uncontrolled or selfish. God’s anger is a response to sin, injustice, and anything that goes against His holy nature. The trembling earth and devouring fire described here show the intensity of His righteous anger.

We must remember that the same God who loves us deeply is also a God who disciplines His children. *Hebrews 12:6 says, “For whom the Lord loves He chastens.”* His anger is not to destroy us but to correct and bring us back to the right path. However, those who continuously reject Him and live in sin risk experiencing His wrath.

Beloved, don’t take God’s grace for granted. Live in obedience to His word and honor Him in all you do. While He is a loving Father, He is also a righteous Judge. Let your life reflect reverence for Him, knowing that His discipline stems from His love. Seek His mercy and walk in His ways.
